The four golf courses we have selected are all within 20 minutes drive of El Nautico. Golf Del Sur is within walking distance and Amarilla is a 5 minute drive from El Nautico Apartments.

There are three other excellent courses but all are either very expensive or too far to drive to and unnecessary in a short holiday.

Golf del Sur:

 

Golf Del Sur consists of three loops of 9 holes running close to the sea, which can be played in any combination and is adjacent to El Nautico.
The course, which is under new management and has recently been upgraded, has lush greens, dotted with black sand bunkers, palm trees and giant cacti.
The course has hosted several PGA European Tour events including The Tenerife Open.
It provides an extremely interesting and unusual test of golf as there are many challenging twists and turns to really test the long and short game.
In the Summer, cooling breezes make this and Amarilla more comfortable to play than other courses in the south of the island.

Amarilla:

 

Only a short drive from El Nautico past the new Marina, this course is more difficult than the others with tight fairways and frequent "barrancas" to trap the ball. Two of the holes are probably the most picturesque on the island, each having the backdrop of the Marina and rocks on the beach. A very good test of golf.

Las Americas:

 

A beautiful golf course, situated in a "bowl" just outside Los Cristanos. It can be a little hot here in the summer, but there is an ample supply of complimentary water bottles available.The course is very attractive and has wide fairways, some undulating and all interesting. Several holes bring the lakes into play and one has to be "mindful" of the storks and flamingos!

Adeje:

 

Another championship course, Adeje hosts a round of the European Men's Tour and is noted for its long par 4 holes. Set up on a hill, the location is an excellent backdrop to the bay of La Caletta and Las Americas. The course and clubhouse are of an extremely high standard and have luxury Villas lining some of the holes.
